- 5.0 out of 5 stars from E. Watkins -- A masterpiece : I am in love with this series! All the books are fast paced, enthralling and keep you on the edge of your seat. Book 3 was the best, I so enjoy all of the mystical creatures and learning about what vampires, werewolves and necromancers can do. I love Clive and Sam and their fabulous chemistry. You can tell by the way the author describes their relationship just how much they adore one another. I don't want to give away the story but wow great things come to those who wait(until the end). This author is funny, creative and dedicated to her story, I always feel like I learn new things reading this series and I am so looking forward to book #4. Sam has grown so much from book one. She’s gained so many allies and friends that’s it’s difficult to believe she’d basically started out as a lone wolf. The resolution of some of the plot lines was a bit abrupt but considering how many new ones feel like they're about to erupt, it seems about right. Already ordered book 4! Supported by a superb array of interesting and quirky characters each with their own 'voice'. As the story unfolds and the dangers present themselves you really root for Sam and her 'fellowship'.
